Landover-based grocery chain Giant Food is preparing to take some suburban Shoppers Food & Pharmacy stores, WBJ has learned. Giant will move its store at 17821 Georgia Ave. in Olney into the now-shuttered Shoppers at Olney Village Center, a Giant spokesperson confirmed.
