Monroe Street Market is a $200 million ground up mixed-use development in the new growth market of Brookland, Northeast Washington, DC. The developer, Bozzuto, was impressed with H&R Retail’s previous success with urban lifestyle centers and tapped H&R Retail to establish and implement a long term leasing strategy for Monroe Street Market’s 83,000 SF of retail space that borders The Catholic University of America.

H&R overcame the challenges of a lack of retail presence in the trade area and recruited an impressive and vibrant tenant mix including Barnes & Noble, Busboys & Poets, Starbucks Reserve, Chipotle, Brookland Pint, &pizza, Orange Theory Fitness among others.
