The Giant at Cathedral Commons has been a staple to the Washington, DC neighborhood of Cathedral Heights since 1955. Fifty seven years later, the land owner (Giant Foods) worked with Bozzuto and Southside Investment Partners to redevelop Cathedral Commons. H&R Retail was tapped to lease the newly constructed 125,000 square feet of premium retail space and merchandise the project to create a successful urban lifestyle center.

H&R Retail developed a creative leasing strategy that capitalized on the highly affluent residential neighborhood and regional draw of Giant Food. New tenants include Barcelona Wine Bar, Raku, Blue Mercury, Silver, Loyal Companion, CVS, Matchbox, Solidcore, Pure Barre and the Washington Ballet among others.
