Meet Geoffrey
Geoffrey joined H&R Retail in 1999 and became partner six years later. Geoffrey has consistently been one of the leading retail brokers in the Washington, DC–Baltimore region. He is a published author of multiple articles and is frequently quoted as an industry expert in real estate trade periodicals.
His extensive experience in shopping center leasing, tenant representation, and land development has led him to complete more than 1,840 retail transactions, including the development and redevelopment of numerous shopping centers. Since 2000, Geoffrey has completed transactions totaling more than 28 million square feet of retail space valued at over $3.4 billion.

ACHIEVEMENTS
In partnership with other H&R Retail team members:
- Led the team that facilitated H&M’s market entry, including Georgetown and F Street
- Served as the exclusive broker assisting LA Fitness and HH Gregg with their market entry
- Developed and implemented a nationwide strategy for off-site warehouses on behalf of Target Corporation, completing more than 55 transactions
- Assisted with the redevelopment of Laurel Lakes Centre, including 420,000 square feet of new leasing
- Oversaw the leasing and redevelopment of Yorkridge Shopping Center, totaling more than 130,000 square feet
