Almost 10 years after developers Jane and Calvin Cafritz first floated the idea of a Whole Foods-anchored mixed-use development on a tract of land in Riverdale between U.S. Route 1 and the CSX train tracks, Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker can barely contain his excitement about this Wednesday’s opening.
