Laura joined the H&R team in February 2024 as a Director, bringing with her over 7 years of retail leasing experience and a focus on Landlord Advisory in downtown Washington, DC. As a native of Northern Virginia who has called Washington, DC home for the past 12 years, Laura’s deep understanding of the region plays a crucial role in her advisory approach. Her expertise lies in providing value-driven and creative guidance to institutional and regional owners, specializing in large-format urban retail projects. At H&R Laura concentrates on both Landlord and Tenant advisory.
Laura began her retail leasing career at Dochter & Alexander Retail Advisors in 2016 and ended her tenure as the Director of Leasing for Landlord Advisory where she managed a diverse portfolio of over 1,500,000 SF of retail in the District. With a portfolio that included prominent projects such as DCUSA in Columbia Heights and Gallery Place in Penn Quarter, Laura has demonstrated her ability to navigate complex leasing processes and deliver exceptional results. Notable clients she has worked with include Brookfield Properties, MetLife Real Estate Investments, Douglas Development, The Meridian Group, and MRP Realty.
