Position Overview

The Operations and Marketing Associate will perform day-to-day administrative and marketing duties including office management, email marketing and public relations.

Fundamental duties and responsibilities

  • Creating and updating marketing material such as flyers, marketing books, and tour books including maps and aerials specific to client needs
  • Coordinate, execute and manage daily email marketing
  • Responsible for making website updates via Wordpress
  • Manage public relations initiatives which include press release writing, distribution, story pitching, and award submissions
  • Own social media
  • Develop new and improve existing H&R branding opportunities and company materials
  • Research various market data
  • Coordinates company booth and presence at ICSC Conventions as well as coordinate and execute internal team events
  • Problem solve and provide administrative support to the brokerage team
  • Print and bind marketing materials and tour books
  • Responsible for new hire setup
  • Maintain oversight of IT issues and act as point person with outsourced IT company
  • Handle sign requests and coordination of installation
  • Works and coordinates with various vendors
  • Responsible for ordering office-related inventory
  • Maintain and update various internal materials


  • Reliable with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing
  • Ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow team members and company executives
  • Must possess strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofreading materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
